Frederick J. Kinder, Jr., MD, FACOG

Dr. Fred Kinder has been in private practice at Women’s Health Clinic as an OB-GYN since completing his residency and medical degree at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. A board-certified (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology) physician, Dr. Kinder is also a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Hundreds of patients in the Ark-La-Tex have benefited from his expertise in minimally invasive surgeries and multiple gestations, including triplet pregnancies. Dr. Kinder also specializes in vaginal birth after cesarean section.

At Willis-Knighton, Dr. Kinder served many years as chairman of the department of OB-GYN and vice president of the medical staff.

Dr. Kinder attended Louisiana College where he graduated with bachelor’s degrees in biology and psychology in 1989 and went on to graduate school at the University of New Orleans.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kinder spends his time with his wife and four children. He also travels internationally on medical missions to care for patients in areas deprived of medical attention.
